We thank you for your support over the past 32 years and would like to let you know about the recent changes at Model Flight. Our Online and Mail Order business remains at 42 Maple Ave Forestville while the Retail shop has moved to an exciting new showroom 1.5 kms away at 130 Goodwood Rd, Goodwood. This new showroom offers a much larger dispay area and great parking. The new store is 150 metres south of the tram line (Tram Stop 3) and is directly opposite Bus Stop 4 and the Goodwood Library. We have parking for 20~30 cars in the car park behind our store (west) and there is parking for over 100 cars behind the Goodwood Library/Community Centre to the east, and directly in front of the store on Goodwood Rd. We are 5 minutes south of the Adelaide CBD and 15 minutes from Adelaide Airport.
The contact details for each are below. Please note that being in separate locations means that we will not be able to answer questions for the Retail store at the Online phone number nor answer Online or Mail Order questions at the Retail store. Read on about the Phoenix's trip to Model Flight Goodwood
Following the last very successful Indoor Flying Meeting at ETSA Park in May,
the Phoenix decided to visit the spectacularly bright and airy new showrooms at
130 Goodwood Road, of Model Flight and decided to share those views with his
readers of the Web Page.

Standing on the opposite side of a very wet Goodwood Road, one can see
that the glory vines will make a shady nook of the new shop in the summer.

From just inside the front door and looking towards the Service Counter, one
realises that “window shopping” of the numerous showcases is going to take time
before getting to the rear of the display area.

My third photo shows the wide range of engines available in the new shop
which range from 2 and 4 stroke engines to the very high-tech jet motors. One
cannot help drooling profusely at the variety.

Then one realises that Model Flight is expanding its interest to, apart from
the many aircraft of both fixed wing and helicopters (note the bright red bodies
of the Blade CX2 helis) to an expansive display of marine machines. Perhaps I
could have waxed lyrically there and called them “mean marine” machines for they
cover both sailing craft and engine power of
electric and petrol. With the general interest in sailing boats expanding these
days one can find many and various sizes available in this class.

My penultimate shot shows the wide corridors that separate the
all-encompassing and fascinating show cases that will make browsing both
pleasing and comfortable.

My final picture managed to catch Sales Manager Brad Merryweather and his
offsider Andre involved in more customer service at which they are both
knowledgeable and of a pleasant manner.
Why not call in and check out the new shop at 130 Goodwood Road, Goodwood.
